~Better Late Than Never!~

December 4th was my amazing husbands 30th birthday. He of course says its just another day and didnt want a big fuss but I wouldnt let it go unnoticed!:)
We had a small family birthday party for him. My dad made him Southwest White Chili for dinner, and for dessert I made a double chocolate fudge cake and Moose Tracks ice cream. He loved it and loved all the gifts he recieved!
Happy Birthday baby...I LOVE YOU!!!!

I have to add that when we were leaving my parents house that night, Cody and Michael were racing to the car and Cody touched the car first and said to Michael " Beat you Old Man! " We were laughing hysterically for quite a while after that! Kids DO say the darnest things!

~Christmas 2009~

Merry Christmas!
It's hard to believe that 2009 is coming to an end. But we are looking forward to a wonderful and healthy 2010!

Michael is almost in his 4th year of working at Coke. He loves it and is good at his job. During the warm months he and some of his buddies from work would play touch football. He seemed to really like that. He also has been going to Poker games and doing the Football Polls for this season. He loves coming home from a hard day at work and getting on the floor to play with his kids and relaxing. He loves to do the Crossword, Jumble and Sudoku puzzles in the papers.

Shalene is now a reading aide at Lewis and Clark Elementary and loves it! She only works 2 hours a day, 3 days a week. She loves doing crafts and learning how to make her own cards. She goes to Girls Night Out every once in a while and loves it. She has learned to make Tutu's and loves making them. She is hoping that 2010 will be a healthier year for her.

Cody is our busy, sweet boy. He will be celebrating his 4th birthday in January. Also in January he will be starting Primary and is very excited! He started Preschool this year and loves every minute of it. He attends Tammy's Tots and loves his teacher Mrs. Tammy. He still loves to play with his cars or anything with wheels. He loves to learn new things, color, cut with scissors, sing, make you smile and just be a silly goose.

Peyton is our Drama Queen. She is 2 1/2 going on 16. She loves to dress up, wear everyone's shoes, and wear make-up like mommy. She is in Nursery and loves it. She stays home with mom while Cody goes to school. She loves to play Mommy with her babies and feed and put them down for a nap. She loves to color, sing, dance, she knows her alphabet, #'s, colors and shapes, She loves to go shopping and is just an all around happy girl.

We hope all of you have a wonderful and safe Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

~Christmas List~

December 1st starts our Advent Calendar and last night we went and had the kids make their Christmas list. Boy was that fun! We took them to Fred Meyer to the toy section and had them pick 6 things that they REALLY want for Christmas. Then "Santa" will decide whether they are ready or good enough for the things they have chosen. Cody would have had a 60 page front and back christmas list if I didnt have a limit! LOL Peyton didnt seem to really care until she saw what Cody was doing.
Tonight we are doing a scavenger hunt. I am excited to see how the kids react. Will post later on how things went!

~Thanksgiving 2009~

This year was a different year for us for Thanksgiving. Usually its just my parents, my youngest brother and us. This year I wanted MORE. I invited my BFFE Anna(She is also my cousin), and her family.
Anyhoo...It was great! I have to have a theme for decorations every year(I know I know your probably thinking...OMG but its just me!). I bought a new tablecloth a while back and was excited to finally use it. It was cranberry and so I decided to incorperate gold with it. I made place card settings and did all the decorations. I worked hard on them! Sometimes I feel that people dont appreciate as much but tis okay!
It was just nice to be able to have family together for a great holiday. I am soo thankful for family and for my BFFE, and for all that they do for me.
Anna may be my cousin but she is my BFFE. I love her and don't know what I would do without her. Love ya gurl!
